In the second part of Dante's journey, we tour purgatory. Souls arriving at Purgatorio are often there due to their love being directed to improper ends: they loved too much or felt too strongly. 

Our bookish print uses William Blake's Art. Its soft blue and hard red show us the dual nature of humanity in love - placid tenderness, and unswerving passion. Our chosen The Divine Comedy: Purgatorio quote shows this love to be the basis of all good things. If this is the case, then we would say that to be human, and love with both shades, is to end up in purgatory - for us, this seems a price to pay for the ranges of love humanity is capable of. This results in a vintage book poster with a modern twist.
