The Story

Wuthering Heights is darkly romantic. As the lines between love and suffering blur, so do the lines between life and death.  We used this dark romance as inspiration for our watercolour design. Ghostly, enduring, and passionate.

This Wuthering Heights book poster uses the wild Yorkshire Moors made famous by the Brontë sisters’ novels. As in the book, our bookish print shows death to be a slight obstacle to the joining of souls. Whether the ghostly Catherine spying on a mourning Heathcliffe is alive or dead in the image is not important. Their love persists beyond death.
