Flavours
Oolong meets roasted cacao, chicory, orange and star anise in a deep, earthy blend. Rich, unusual and decidedly not a sweet chocolate tea, it balances roasted flavours with a little citrus brightness.

The Tea Experience

Appearance: Oolong leaves with dark cacao nibs, chicory, orange peel and spices for an earthy forest feel.

Flavour: Subtle star anise, supported by roasted cacao and chicory. A little orange adds brightness.

Serving: Try without milk first to appreciate the anise-and-roasted-flavour contrast. Milk to taste to soften flavours if needed.

Business on the Scottish heath for the Storyport merchants was disrupted by battle. Fleeing,  they strayed too far from the path and encountered three witches gathered around an unappealing cauldron marked 'prophecy’ while periodically checking their newt traps.

The air was thick with the scent of roasted cacao, strange roots and star anise. Whatever else the witches were preparing for, the merchants were intrigued by the far more attractive bubbling cauldron marked ‘tea’.

A trade was agreed, though the witches insisted on offering a prophecy as part of the bargain. The merchants wisely declined and insisted to pass on this favour to the next traveller they met in the marshes.
