    The Story

To Kill A Mockingbird gives us the story of racial injustice from a child's perspective. As Scout grapples with the adventures of adolescence she also comes to understand a world that is unwaveringly unfair. To Kill A Mockingbird shows us the importance of leading by example and how our formative years come to dictate our future. Just as Scout confronts the prejudices of the town in their treatment of Tom Robinson, she also confronts her own when rescued by Boo Radley.

We wanted our literary watercolour to express the quintessential beauty of potential and the threat that always looms over it. For us, the mockingbird is representative of goodness and perches on a tree framing a beautiful cottagecore scene. Despite this tranquility the tire swings menacingly. It is both a swing and a noose reflecting the brutal potential of prejudice and the power of childhood in determining our future.  We hope this print provides a reminder on your wall of the potential for injustice to ruin such a world. This results in an inspiring original book poster perfect for readers and book lovers looking for literary gifts to curate an authentic bookish decor experience that stays true to the themes of this classic literature.

Our bookish art uses an original watercolour to channel dark cottagecore themes in the creation of a bookish classic literature poster - a perfect book lovers gift for a reading corner,

Take Harper Lee's To Kill A Mockingbird beyond the shelf with a watercolour literary poster. This book cover art print adds any home décor - a great bookish gift for the book nook of book lovers!
