The Story

"Like many other much-loved humans, they believed that they owned their dogs instead of realising that their dogs owned them."

Originally titled The Great Dog Robbery, this children's book was fortunately retitled to the snappier The Hundred and One Dalmatians and made popular by the classic Disney film. The book is an adventure following Pongo and Missis rescuing their puppies from a fur farm. The animals take centre stage as the protagonists, considering humans to be pets, thinking of themselves as owners. A sentiment any pet owner can attest to.

Our bookish print borrows from the art-deco style of the period to create a vibrant surreal print expressing the swirl of colours and smells that make up a dog's world. We use an iconic A Hundred and One Dalmations quote highlighting who the true owners are.
