The Story Behind the Design
The Chronicles of Narnia is an adventure in the pursuit of justice within a magical setting perfect for children and young adults. We remember the harrowing White Witch enticing with Turkish delight and the snowy landscape gradually thawing as goodness is able to seep into a world frozen into statues and obedience. It is straightforward good vs evil in an unknown realm with unknown rules. Classic Children's Literature.
We wanted our design to express those first steps of a journey into the unknown. The solitary lamp invites awe and curiosity as the castle Cair Paravel looms in the distance giving even the trees a twisted darkness. Lucy's entrance into the world brings hope as the snow gives way to budding life once more. We hope this print provides a reminder on your wall that even in the darkest times there is still hope and goodness to be found in the unknown. Greet the world with inquisitiveness and good may sprout from bad. This results in an inspiring original book poster perfect for readers and book lovers looking for literary gifts to curate an authentic bookish decor experience that stays true to the themes of this classic literature.
