As the Storyport merchant admired the Pemberley grounds, they encountered a visiting young lady whose opinion of the estate's owner appeared to be changing with each new account of his generosity.

The merchants listened with interest. They agreed that reputation could be an unreliable guide to character, though they had less experience applying this wisdom to the heart.

When the host appeared unexpectedly, they discovered him to be courteous and agreeable. Curious about their trade, he asked whether they might create a tea that captured something of the estate in which he took such evident pride.

The merchants obliged with a blend of Ceylon black tea, elderflower and rose. The first pot was shared beneath the summer awnings, where the young lady appeared increasingly willing to revise her premature conclusions.
