Jazz is a musical whirlwind of shifting viewpoints improvising their vision of the world. We move through rhythms of reflective blues to violent and sensual ragtime leaving us with a rich and complex look at black America. It is social justice art and feminism that only asks for the chance to scrape together a good time when possible. The tragedy of Jazz is in the rise and fall of the song.
