Storyport merchants travel across worlds to bring you tea inspired by our favourite stories. Part of our Literary Tea Collection, Eboracum Breakfast brings a little of York and Yorkshire to the collection.
Flavours
Malty Assam meets apple, rosehip, elderberry and elderflower in a familiar breakfast tea with an orchard-and-hedgerow twist. A hint of ginger brings warmth to a comforting everyday cup.
The Tea Experience

Flavour A rounded, familiar Assam with soft apple, gentle fruit and floral notes. A hint of ginger adds warmth.
Serving: Lovely plain, or with a small splash of milk for a softer cup.
The Merchant's Dispatch
From the Streets of Old York
The Storyport merchants have always considered York an excellent place for business, although navigating its narrow medieval streets with a fully laden hand cart presents certain difficulties - yes we actually need to do this sometimes!
On one particularly troublesome visit to the Shambles, a trader offered them a fragrant blend of black tea, apples and hedgerow botanicals. Something that held a bit of Yorkshire character - far more interesting that a typical tea!
The merchants requested a sample. Then another. Then a rather larger quantity, entirely for the purpose of professional evaluation.
By the time negotiations were complete, the tea chest was full and the cart was considerably harder to manoeuvre.
