The Story Behind the Set

Paris is a city full of historical contradictions with palaces converted into prisons into museums. It is both the city of love and the birthplace of revolution and liberty. Paris is one of the cultural centers and as such contains a rich literary history. All books set in Paris both contain and give something to the city.

Our Gallery Wall Set aims to capture a range of this literary richness alongside the wonderful contradictions of the City of Light. From the optimistic yet worthless suffering of Les Misérables to the tragically misguided literary sensibilities of Madame Bovary hoping to make stories reality to the alluring horror and elegance of The Phantom of the Opera.

Our City of Light Gallery Wall Set uses book illustrations and literary quotes from classic French literature to create an elegant dark academia decor poster pack. They are art prints perfect for imbuing your bookish decor with a touch of Paris - a book lover gift great for any reading corner.
