The Storyport merchants began their journey beneath the towering ice of the Wall, where the northern wind made even their most veteran consider their life choices.

Beyond it lay forests, ancient dangers and travellers who spoke rather ominously of the coming winter. Sensibly, they turned their attention farther south. Despite their optimism, they encountered feuding houses, extravagant feasts and increasingly alarming rumours of dragons beyond the seas.

They found that every region had its preferred way of preparing tea. The northern blends favoured fragrant spices and a lingering heat. While warmer lands preferred a cooling freshness. Unwilling to take a side in the growing tensions between North and South, the merchants wisely decided to bring back a little of both. They combined the two in a drink now celebrated throughout Westeros.
