A Room of One's Own argues for the creation and defence of a space for women and women writers within the literary and cultural canon. It states that money and a room of one's own are necessary to do so and understands that cultural production is necessarily tied to autonomy, financial or otherwise. And while of its time (and class!), A Room of One's Own is an important feminist text that still resonates with readers today.

We wanted our literary print to speak to these ideas. We created a feminist poster print using Virginia Woolf's words to reflect this desire for freedom.
