The Story

1984 is a warning sign for what could have and what may yet be. Orwell's world and writing made the harrowing possibility far less likely than it would have been had we not read of the horrors of INGSOC on the bodies and minds of his characters.

We have wanted a 1984 design for years. All previous attempts were either too appropriately bleak to go on a wall or borrowed too much from iconography that wasn't really our own (think the classic interpretation of INGSOC eye). We finally have a design we are pleased with inspired by a more mid century sci-fi abstract art style entirely in keeping with the themes of the original text.
